This photo launches the #LWBlog series "Story Behind the Photo". In this issue, the international photographer Katya Druz tells the story of the photo entitled "A Friendship that conquered the world" featuring Pedro Torres and the live legend stallion Oxidado.
APSL’s first public concentration for stallion approval of 2018 took place last January 27th: 33 horses between the ages of 4 and 12 were evaluated for their morphology and quality of gaits under saddle. Overall, 29 new stallions were admitted to the Stud-book. The awarded 6 year old Lusitano Homero JCL, presented by João Faustino, achieved the highest score (75,5%).

Uli is a German journalist with vast experience in equine articles. Frances is an American grand prix rider who was always been curious and attracted by Iberian breeds. Curious about the Lusitano she traveled to Portugal and meet Lusitano World team – after buying her first Lusitano she joined Lusitano World as an agent for the USA, promoting the breed and cooperating in travelling programs to Portugal. She will also be a regular contributing writer, bringing opinion articles and increasing the awareness about the Lusitano breed in the USA.
