Livherpool do Vouga

One of the highlights of the Rocas do Vouga Auction 2026, this impressive Lusitano stallion brings together exceptional breed type, proven genetics and genuine sport credentials in a horse that is as enjoyable to ride as he is striking to look at. His beauty is undoubtedly one of his greatest assets. With an expressive face and beautifully shaped neck, he is a horse that immediately catches the eye. His baroque appearance remains faithful to the traditional character of the breed, while his expressive, elastic movement gives him the quality and presence expected of a modern sport horse.

He is ready to compete at PSG level and will be competing during the Rocas do Vouga Festival, giving prospective buyers the opportunity to see him perform in a genuine competition environment. Under saddle, he is sensitive, light and very responsive to the rider’s aids, both from the leg and the hand. He is not a horse that needs strength to ride; rather, he responds best to a rider with feeling and finesse. This makes him particularly interesting for a sensitive amateur looking for a horse with the quality and training to enjoy the higher levels of dressage, while remaining straightforward and rewarding in the daily work.

His temperament is another important part of his appeal. Despite being an approved breeding stallion, he is exceptionally polite and respectful to handle, with an excellent understanding of personal space and no noticeable stallion behaviour in his daily routine. His kind, uncomplicated nature makes him very pleasant both in and out of the stable.

His pedigree further strengthens his profile. He is a son of the Olympic stallion Viestalter Real, while on the dam’s side his grandsire is Osian, the renowned stallion from Valega Stud. He is himself an approved breeding stallion with 76 points, adding genuine breeding value to an already accomplished sport profile. For someone looking for a Lusitano who can step straight into the competition arena, while still offering the sensitivity, character and rideability that make the partnership enjoyable every day, this is a rare opportunity. Equally valuable as a sport horse and as an approved breeding stallion, he is undoubtedly one of the standout horses of the Rocas do Vouga Auction 2026.
